Ghost House dedication and back cover

lexxiescottWith "Ghost House" finally in the last stages of editing and publication (I'm guessing 48 hours from now) I thought I would do something a little different and post the dedication page as well as the back cover blurb on here. The main reason for sharing the dedication is because of who is included, but I'm thinking that putting the back cover blurbs up wouldn't be a bad idea, really.
Any time I do a celebrity dedication, with the exception of the Riders, I always worry. Does it seem too stalkerish? Is it weird? Well, it's me, so probably, but that's not exactly how I'm meaning weird this time around. I know I also worry for nothing, but there's always that moment. That one iota of doubt that hangs around and will not let go.
It has yet to stop me though. *grins* Although I doubt that Yuuta-kun will ever find out I dedicated "The Nightmare" to him. That would be a little too wild for words.
Dedication
This work is dedicated firstly to the young spirit I saw in my closet when I was a child. I have never forgotten you, and I hope one day to know your name and be able to figure out what it was you needed that night.
Secondly, this work is dedicated to Zak, Nick, and Aaron. The Ghost Adventures Crew, through their show, helped me survive a move across country away from my friends. They also, indirectly, gave me the seed from which this novel grew, when they investigated one of their locations in England. Guys, please keep doing what you do with the same fire and passion. Your show is still the highlight of my week as I’m working to establish myself in a strange town and state.
Thirdly, to my parents. You always encourage me to learn, to try new things, and branch out. You also didn’t blink at the topics I researched for this book. You are two of the best parents in the world.

These days it's all the rage to be into a ghost hunting show, or out hunting ghosts yourself, and one group decided that uploading to YouTube and blogging is the way to go. Backed by an eccentric, wealthy uncle, they send their research team around the country finding the facts and history for various haunted locations open for investigation.
Once the research is finished, the team heads in for their investigation, including interviews, in an attempt to learn what happens to a soul once a human dies.
A site in Georgia, one with no reports of paranormal activity, starts to unveal its haunted past. Reports of a ghostly house, a presence that overwhelms anyone that goes near, and possible demonic activity. The researchers want to run as far from the site as possible. The investigators don't feel the same. The question is, will they all get out alive ,and with no demonic attachments?
