highly amusing story about Ro and me - at least to us

We didn't know that Eiji-san (Moriyama Eiji) voiced Ibu in the anime until hortarukunn told me about it. Ro is on a major Eiji-san kick right now, to the point of wanting to see a BL movie I think I have downloaded that his name appeared in. I'm not sure if he's in it or not, but she stays away from the BLs usually. Those are my movies. Anyway, I was re-watching DL1 and got the joke that I missed last time through it.
It's after Ibu's song and they're all trying to say "sunmasson." Tuti just cracks me up at this point with his try. Kime-hime is just too cute. And then Eiji-san comments on what a wonderful voice Ibu has and then cracks up about it. But when they're all saying, "Momo can do it. Channel Ibu. You can sound just like him." And he doesn't want to do it. Ro and I were dying at this point we were laughing so hard. And then he goes to do it and they all say he doesn't look anything like Ibu and to forget it.

Now we totally get the joke. I love those types of jokes in the musicals. I've had to explain a couple of them to Ro because she hasn't (still) read the manga.

Wow. How fun that you finally discovered that! :-)

I adored that scene in DL1. I had to go watch an episode of the anime afterward so I could hear him actually say it, though! LOL!

There are two or three of the actors that also did voices :-) (Of course, the only other one I remember now is that 2nd Cast Inui did the voice of Zaizen. He actually resembles him a great deal, as well!)

to help you a little. It's Arayan that does Zaizen and yes he looks more like Zaizen than he does Inui...
The other is Toya, the original Kachiro. He does the voice of Kentaro(from Rokkaku) You will get to see him whenever I get around to doing the 100 song mararthon caps...

And Lexxie, you are slow. I haven't even watched the anime and I got that joke. (well mainly because when I saw on the wikipedia page where it said Moriyama was in Tenimyu it also said that he was Shinji but still... I would have thought you would have gotten that before now...)

warui. *grins* Ro is the voice actor freak of the pair of us and haunts wiki for names. I usually ignore her unless it's something important. I'm glad I wasn't with her when I told her she shrieked so loudly.

Is that one of the Renai Shindan? He's in the second of the BL-mpvies in that mini-series. I like the first BL more than the second, though. That one has IRE, Tomo and JURI in it =D But it's scary seeing JURI play such a nice chara... Setsu is the nicest I can see him as right now... ^^;;; Stupid Akutsu's fault.
I still need to get those dvds. All four. (there's two BL, one GL and one incest in Renai Shindan)

yeah, that's the one. or two, I guess as the case might be. I can only find the one about the hospital though, which is tagged as 4. I'll keep digging though, because Ro really wants to see it. Hopefully not too graphic for her. *rolls eyes*

I'm sorry that I don't remember where I downloaded it from. If I buy it soon, I'll post the rips if you haven't found it. And no, it's not too graphic. There are stuff implied, but yeah. A little violence nad so, but it's such an awesome movie. One of my favorites. But I can look around and see if I can find where I downloaded it.

Yes, it's the three of them as the main cast in Tsubasa no Kakera. Juri is Kain, Tomo Tsubasa and IRE Leo. =)
