Two fold question

So my father who also acts as my informal editor on my novels had an interesting idea for my TDC novel. As I've revamped it so there are no copyright issues, and believe me it wasn't easy creating eight new dragons, he says he now wants to see more history.

My question to you is this - what do you want to know about dragons? And what do you want to know about the hunters?

I'll work the questions into the novel and eventually into the fanfiction as well so you guys aren't forced to buy the book if you don't want to. *grin* But I really would appreciate your help as creating history and backstory is one of the harder things to do if you don't know what the initial questions are.

Well... you can get the first human/Dragon change recorded, and how it was taught. Also, how they went to the new world.

Then, how the first hunter was born. A dragon took an only child and the parents went crazy. Or something similar.

Then the change from reality to myth, and the attempts to make Dragons good, and thus a massacre was done (three dragons killed in one go can be a massacre when there are so few already)

have there ever been hunters who killed their dragon?

Who was the first to watch the bond fail? the inital 24 hr one and the 1 month one?

Is it possible to out hunters to the community (other than dragons) and have them labeled as serial killers?

So I should totally get round to reading the latest couple of chapters. It's annoying how a new fandom bites you in the ass and shouts Me Me Me constantly for a month putting off all other fandoms.

Any who that aside, I'd totally love lots of history.
How the first dragon came to change, how they found other dragons and formed the first community/ies, how they communicated before letters/phones/the internet etc.
And hunters, why they think dragons are so bad, how they network with each other.
And all the dragon lore, like delve into each of the dragons talents and how they came into being for the first dragons.

And I can't wait for the book! I'm just hoping you link us when it comes out! And hoping I can get it shipped to the UK!

Those are great. I might actually put a couple directly into the fanfic. :)

In my experience, what people want to know about characters is their history.
I'm very curious about hunters.
What's the origin of this group?
Who is the leader? (if there is one, in this case I'd like to know everything about him or her. expecially the real reason of his/her behaviour) Why they hate dragons so much? Is real hate or they are just followin some non written orders and laws?
Is possible to create a plot in wich hunters and dragons will learn to understand each other?

The hunters seem to be the main question everyone (including my dad) has. That really helps because I'll be able to think about what happened to make them turn into hunters and go from there.
