fan fiction question

i'm at work on my iPod, so i don't have my list of WIPs in front of me, but i'm curious about something. a couple of weeks to a month back i wrote that new CSI Miami one-shot and received one review from a very loyal reader. *hugs her* on one site there was a little over 200 reads on the story. i know my focus has been mainly on my original works and trying to break into the publishing industry (i'm going to get a skeleton key one of these days) so i'm curious how many folks are still around in the fandoms and are waiting very patiently (thank you!) for me to finish stories.
what brought this up is i've been thinking about one of my WIPs and how i might start an update for the chapter. the problem being i know it's going to piss people off and drive away readers even though it'll work well and fit the story nicely. writing is not a plase everyone industry and i know holding out for universal popularity will never work.

so, not listing which stories you want me to finish, could you just let me know if you're still around??
