is stupidity contagious or is it just me?

And no, I don't feel particularly stupid at the moment, just tired as hell. I realized, again, that I am surrounded by stupid people at work. We didn't start count today until half an hour late because someone didn't talk to someone or didn't do their job or something. I got the story third hand so I honestly don't know what happened, but we had no security guard. (I always feel very insecure when that happens) Our pit boss had to go into count and lock the casino so we ended up opening fifteen minutes late today. Luckily it's Sunday (I think) and no one shows up right at open to play anyway.
I didn't realize I was having issues today until, while reading Wintersmith by Terry Pratchett, I found that I had to reread a joke three times to get it, when it normally just takes once. That worried me. I got the next couple of with problems, and greatly enjoyed the plague of chickens. And the footnote about chickens. I think it will take a while for me to get that image out of my head. I love that man's books.
Maybe I can blame the weather and the cat. Nina has been insisting on being let out at 0530 every morning this week and I'm exhausted. Not to mention it's raining. Oh yeah, and I work six days a week. I'm going to bed now. Tomorrow is my one day off. I'm sure you'll see me at some point. I promised to post some files for upload.
