life the universe and everything
Aug. 27th, 2007 03:46 amSo I know the answer is 42 and I even know the question to the answer of life, the universe and everything. Yeah, can you tell I'm in a really odd mood tonight? Well, okay today as it's almost 0400 Monday morning. I've got four more days of work and I just found out that I'm going to be thrown yet another trainee for the surveillance room before I'm done. *sigh* Brandon needs to learn how to train and he has enough experience to be good at it but he's not being given the chance. Maybe I should have put my foot down but I was just too tired.
I went to Ro's house for pizza and an Inu Yasha marathon. I so hate her for getting me into that show but there's such a good basis in history as well as fantasy that I just fell into it. Anyway, while we were watching near the end of season three where Inu Yasha almost manages to kill Naraku I had this cute little bunny bite me. You'd think it'd be for an Inu Yasha fan fiction but nooooooo, why should it be that easy? It was for a CSI:NY (which is done, posted and ready for review BTW) but because Inu Yasha was also arguing with his elder half-brother Shesshomaru it ended up being an angst bunny. So I decided to just go ahead and name the angst bunny that's been hanging around Shesshomaru and be done with it. I probably could have picked an easier name but I blame him for the latest story. Him, him, him. (hides under desk: I'm blaming a cartoon character - makes note to call doctor in the morning)
And I took it a step further. I went onto altavista and searched for bunny pics so I could have a visual of exactly who I was blaming.

I figure that isn't milk in the bottle. The pics are from the journal of a woman who found two baby rabbits and raised them. In the next picture I'm going to say the other one is Inu Yasha (although the brothers hate each other) and he can be my other plot bunny. That makes four who are hanging around poking me to write.

Maybe I should just blame the cat and be done with it.
On a totally unrelated note I'm not going to have regular internet access until October when I'm back from England as my folks don't want to start service at their house until I need it. So I won't be updating my fics as often as possible. And when I'm in England (22 days folks) I won't be online at all so there will be no updates. I'll write and probably have tons of stuff to post when I get back so be ready for that. Okay, maybe I'll sneak to an internet cafe and post a note here once or twice. *grin*
