Book covers and life

I'm showing off my novel covers because I think they're pretty. *grins* They're in order of publication too.
I wish I could just slap everyone here and go home. Yeah, I'm at work. I'm also the only one who showed up on time for the shift today. Security got here 15 minutes late, cage 20, and pit boss 30. It just drives me up the wall, it really does. I'm never late, I take a great deal of pride in that, but I know that if I was, I'd have Nash on the phone trying to figure out where I am. Just one thing, of many, that drives me mad around this place. The best part of the day is when security radio'd to say they were going in to get new cards. I said only if everyone has their name tags on - because the cards are in a secure room - and he said it was just him and the pit boss going in for cards. Oooooh, I wanted to give him such a pinch. He's new and still learning though, so I'm holding back my sarcasm. It's not easy, but I'm holding it back. He's going to be in for a shock one of these days though. There's a reason security usually warns about me when they're training. *grins*

Dude. Hope they are kind enough to remind him before you lay into his goofy ass. Wear your damned name tag ffs.
Oi. I had nightmares myself. One good dream and the rest was nightmares. Frigging crazy.
Hope you get some good rest tonight, though.

I doubt they will be. There's a certain high school atmosphere around this place and there's great enjoyment at other peoples' pain. When someone messes up - never for a huge mistake but like locking their keys in their secure room - I say everyone has to point and laugh at them. You'd be amazed how most of them never do it again.
Nightmares are no good. You need a night of good dreams. Wonder how we can make this happen for you. Maybe watch a bit of Doctor Who before you go to sleep?

Dude. Harsh. But necessary it seems with these yahoos you get stuck with. *Rolls eyes*
Thinking of doing that...damned good idea methinks!!

Hope it helped. :)

And yeah...your work would drive me nuts too! *hugs you lots*
Ooo, dreaming of Horatio, huh? Nice!
*more hugs*

I think I'm past nuts and into fruits, honestly.
It was. I must watch more CSI Miami at bedtime so it happens again. *grins*

did you see the news about 11?

Well...we had him for four years...and I'm sure his leaving will rip our hearts out and leave us ripe for another great Doctor...

I'm fairly sure I'll get a chance to meet him in November. Now that really will be special.
There are so many guesses for 12. I don't know if there's an actor I really want to see, but Tom Hiddleston would be gold.
If I went on chat, are you going to be on later? We're dead here.

Ugh I hate tardiness. It's almost as bad as laziness. (Or are they the same...) Maybe not holding back would help the new guy learn faster. ;)

I do too. It annoys me. I think they're in the same vein of apathy, but not exactly the same thing. Most of my coworkers suffer from lazy. Makes me want to slap them.
It might, but then again, it might not. He's a football player, so I know there's a certain immunity built in. *grins* He's really pushing the envelope today though.
