Mr. Jinx and Zeri were out enjoying the sun the other day and I managed to get a couple of pics of them. Jinx is huge and Zeri is so tiny. It's hard to believe the black and white kitty (Zeri) is two years old.




They get along fairly well with each other. Jinx will just lay on her if he doesn't want to play any more. *grins*



Then I came back inside and upstairs to my bathroom to brush my hair, looked in the mirror and actually screamed a little.




I was being watched. That's Nina on my towel shelf. It's the one place she can hide from Zeri in peace.

Four, actually, but 42 won't hold still for pics. *Grins*

I had a scare with Nina the other night. I came home from work and couldn't find her anywhere. The rule is that she has to be in by dark and cannot stay out during the night. I went through the whole house multiple times - even my mum's room waking her up - before I finally had to give up without finding her. I'd looked outside in both the front and back yards too and was filling up the humidifier we keep running for my dad when I heard her yowl from behind the door to the basement. I don't know where she was hiding down there, but it was a pretty bad scare for me.

cats are damn good escape artists & they are very capable of getting into the most bizarre situations & looking 'who? me?' after that

I certainly hope Zeri isn't. Tonight Nina spotted her in my dresser and has been all out of sorts for the rest of the night. Nina hates any other animal in "her" bedroom.

for 2 yrs old, i think she's about there.. well it depends on how good she's at irritatin/defendin herself again the others

i've seen small cats whack the crap outta the big ones

The only other cat we've had that small at age 2 was Silverbells - who lived to be 21 btw - but we think Zeri is going to stay this small.

Let me put it this way. We have a nesting pair of Great Horned Owls in the neighborhood and we're betting on Zeri if it comes down to a fight between them. :)

we only have pigeons, sparrows & the occasional crows

kitties are good fighters if they want to =]

Yeah, like I said, a nesting pair. We think we might have babies too, but it's too hard to tell. But it's really cool to hear them talking at night.

We have those too, especially crows. Crows hate owls. And a ton of other birds too. kitty hunting heaven, especially when the humming birds come into the garden.

ever seen a cat holding a live humming bird backwards in it's mouth so it looks like the cat has a beak? unfortunately, all we could think at the time was "don't bring it in the house!"

i think he was, it's been a few years. the best part of that story is the cat had no front claws.
